Vocation reflections

As Jesus entered Jerusalem, the people shouted Hosanna!  Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!  By the end of the week, the people shouted crucify him, crucify him!  Still today, some do not follow Jesus, they show anger or resentment toward faith.  Are you willing to work to turn this anger into shouts of joy?  Consider doing this as a priest, deacon or religious sister or brother.

If you feel this call, “inquire within” and Please contact the Vocations Office the Vocations Office at (973) 497-4365 or by E-mail at kellyric@rcan.org. Or visit our web site at www.rcan.org

We invite you to come and spend time with the Lord for these intentions and for your personal requests.  The Holy Hour closes with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.  If you cannot join us in church, we ask you to join us from a quiet spot in your home and pray with us, asking the Lord to guide and protect our priests.

Saint Anne’s 100th Anniversary News Update

“Animal crackers and cocoa to drink that is the finest of suppers I think; when I’m grown up and can eat what I please, I think I shall always insist upon these.”

Do you have a favorite meal?  Can we have the recipe?

The Centennial Committee is preparing a taste-tempting cookbook featuring favorite recipes from our parishioners.  Our cookbook will be illustrated and bound and is sure to be treasured for years.

We would like you to submit one or two of your favorite recipes so that you can be represented in our memorable collection.  Your name will be printed with each of your recipes.

Proceeds from our cookbook sales will be donated to the Saint Anne’s Centennial Fund.  Recipe collection sheets can be found in the church vestibule.  Please submit your recipes by April 27.  A box for the completed recipe sheets is also in the vestibule.  Thank you.

“Let us pray that the faith we share will continue to grow”.
